The Small Business Technology Planning Guide
Know where you stand before you buy, switch or move.
Most small businesses never set out to build a technology setup. It grows one router, printer and account at a time, until the business depends on all of it and nobody is quite sure how it fits together. This free guide helps you take stock. Start with a ten-question readiness check that takes about five minutes, then use the fill-in worksheets to record your devices, internet service, accounts and subscriptions, who has access to what, and where your important files live.
From there, it helps you think through what your business actually needs, gives you the questions to ask an internet provider, installer or vendor before you sign, and includes a checklist for moving offices and a plain-language glossary. It's written for businesses from one person up to about 25, with no technical background needed. Fill it in on screen or print it out, and bring it to your free consultation to make it go faster.
